This resource is designed to aid our chapters and their treasurer in their bookkeeping and contributions. It is our aim to keep you well informed and up to date on pertinent information. Your chapter is a blessed contributor on three levels of philanthropic work: your local community, your Atlanta Metropolis and National Philoptochos. By channeling our resources in this way the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society is one of the largest Christian women’s charitable organizations in the United States.
Annual Per Capita Stewardship
The treasurer must submit per capita stewardship for each member by April 30 to the National and Metropolis offices as follows:

| Atlanta Metropolis Per Capita | $7 per person |
Each chapter may collect additional stewardship from its members for local philanthropic work as determined.
National Philoptochos Per Capita should be mailed to the New York office along with the appropriate coupon and name list.
Metropolis Philoptochos Per Capita should be mailed to Dee Nicolaou along with the appropriate coupon and name list -----Please use the attached coupon form (below) and the "Per Capita Form 2012 for METROPOLIS OF ATL" in Excel. YOU MUST ALSO EMAIL THIS FORM TO NATIONAL PHILOPTOCHOS AND DEE NICOLAOU so we can upload all members to our e-Communications databases.
Please be sure that your National and Metropolis Per Capita Reports are for the same number of members. This is also very important for your chapter to be up to date and properly credited.
Any membership stewardship collected after the deadline may be mailed in as long as you clearly indicate which year it is for and should be sent to both National and Metropolis.
National & Metropolis Commitments
There are 9 Metropolis Commitments and 19 National Commitments that support the ministries of outreach, philanthropia and Orthodoxia. For your convenience, we have attached several forms (see below) to help explain and track your chapter’s contributions. The "2011 National Commitments At-a-Glance" and the "2012 Metropolis Commitments - Coupon Descriptions" will explain where your money is going. The “Track Your Commitments Spreadsheet” is an at-a-glance tool that the chapter treasurer may find helpful. It is available in 2 formats below. (this is not a form you need to submit).
When submitting your payments please note the following:
- Each chapter will receive a coupon booklet from National and coupon sheets from the Atlanta Metropolis.
- ***Be sure to always mail your National commitment contributions to New York and the Metropolis commitments to our Atlanta Metropolis treasurer listed above.
- Submit the correct coupon with your check and indicate on the check memo line the purpose of the payment.
- Please do not make checks out to the treasurer. All checks should be payable to either National Philoptochos or Metropolis of Atlanta Philoptochos.
- Make certain that every check has your chapter number written next to your chapter name and has two signatures (as required by National Philoptochos By-Laws.)
- Commitments and Donations should be current to ensure that your chapter' delegates are recognized at the National Philoptochos Convention or Metropolis Clergy/Laity Conference of year.
